Menu: German Feast

German themed event held as part of the “songs” series of events by the Canton of Middlegate.

SCA Event: Gesangs of the Stone

1st course

  • Semmel rolls and Pate
  • Mixed Greens and Herbs dressed and served with sliced eggs and fruit
  • Pickled Vegetables

2nd Course

  • Venison Stewed in pepper sauce
  • Rice in broth
  • Mushroom fritters

3rd course

  • Bratwurst with creamy saurkraut & mustard
  • Creamy roasted squash
  • Roasted carrots

4th course

  • Chicken roasted with pears, onions and bacon
  • Spinach mushroom tart

5th course

  • Fig pudding served with cherry sauce
